START POINT: NEWPORT COMMUNITY HOSPITAL 714 N. Pine (Pine and Scott), can be reached by following US2 from I90 50 miles north. On the one way grid, turn left (west) on 1st Street and follow to Scott, turn right to the Hospital at Pine and Scott. Ask for the Volkssport Box at the Reception Desk on the right side after entering the main doors.
DESCRIPTION: Walk on city street, road shoulders, through wooded areas with views of the Pend Oreille River and on the Upper Wolf Trail. Walk through city parks and around the Pend Oreille County Courthouse.
