Description:

Walk along the Spokane River through a newly developed area. Where once lumber mills and railroads were active, now a village with river access, parks, restaurants, retail, and housing is bustling with mixed use opportunity. You will walk on parts of the Centennial and Prairie Trails, and through Riverstone Park that has many pieces of public art and where you can catch a summer concert if you time it right. Pedestrian paths follow the river in Atlas Mill Park where you can enjoy the views and waterfowl, while seeing remnants of loading docks from the past. On the land side you can witness neighborhood development and stop to play the xylophone at the playground.
