    These two events are only available through the OSB. 

    Route Details

    These events are designed as out and backs. The participant can choose the distance to travel. There is only one direction from the Spokane Trailhead. At the Scribner Trailhead the participant has the option of walking back toward Spokane or going in the opposite direction to the end of the trail past Queen Lucas Lake to Minnie creek (future plans are for a connection with the Columbia Plateau Trail.

    Directions to Trailheads/Walk Start Points

    There are two trailheads. 

    Spokane:

    Directions from I-90: Exit 280 (Maple-Walnut) and drive north on Walnut two blocks and turn left (west) on 2nd Ave., travel 1 mile staying in the right lane as it becomes Sunset Blvd., continue to stoplight at Government Way. Turn left (south) on Lindeke and go one block to S. Milton. Turn left and trailhead parking is on the right. (restroom at this trailhead is only restroom on the trail)

    Scribner Road:

    Directions from I-90: Exit 279 (US195) nd drive to the Spokane Cheney Road. Right on Spokane Cheney Road to Scribner Road (after the bridge that crosses the railroad tracks. Left on Scribner Road to small unpaved trailhead.
